Keesha decided to go into the theatre industry after graduating from Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The actress performed on her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as a debut Off-Broadway production of Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the interactive show Eat the Runt. Other theatrical performances included Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha was a playwright alongside August Wilson himself.
