Anne Celeste Heche, an American actress best known by her appearances on film and TV in diverse genres. A popular rumor is that Anne did not want to play the part in the film Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later cast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Mr. Carpenter says that he had a desire to cast her in the role but she declined her back. Anne isn't aware of being offered the role to John Carpenter or being offered the role. Perhaps one of her representatives declined the role on her behalf, without informing the actress. Glen Larson, who had sent a rough script of the part she was going to perform in the television program Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. The role was initially rejected since the character wasn't sturdy. Glen later wrote a part for her that featured an extremely strong character named Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25 page script. The show ran for one season. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
